BKWARE ist ein Hobbyprojekt von The Len Letsplay, Luna, Akane_Light, Lord Ender, Walnuss, Vince, Kaizen und ctrlcaz. Es handelt sich nicht um ein kommerzielles Unternehmen, sondern um eine persönliche Initiative zur Förderung von Gaming, Community und kreativen Projekten.
Wir wollen eine Plattform schaffen, auf der Gamers, Kreative und Tech-Enthusiasten zusammenkommen, um Erfahrungen auszutauschen, Projekte zu entwickeln und Spaß zu haben. Unser Fokus liegt auf Innovation, Community und unterhaltsamen Inhalten.
Im Dezember 2021 beschließt ein noch etwas jüngerer The Len Letsplay seine Spanisch-Reise entgültig zu beenden und stadessen in die Informatik zu wechseln. Diese Entscheidung sollte später noch eine maßgebliche Rolle in der Geschichte von BKWare spielen.
In the summer of 2022, Len, who had been in his school's computer science course for a while, was given the task of creating something using the famous block programming language Scratch. For this task, he teamed up with someone named Space Jesus (now known as Luna). The two were hard at work on their planned scratch film titled Bernd the Cheese and the Cheddar of the Godhead. However, due to a memory error, a lot of the film's data was lost, which is why Len and Luna were forced to stop the project. On October 18, 2022, Len also created the YouTube channel "Bernd der Käse", which is still active today. Little by little, these events heralded the birth of the BK universe.
Lange Zeit war es ruhig um Bernd der Käse geblieben. Doch im Juni 2023 erhielt Len erneut die Aufgabe etwas mit Scratch zu machen. So schloss er sich erneut mit Luna zusammen um dieses mal ein Spiel und keinen Film zu entwickeln. Dazu riefen die beiden offiziell das "Unternehmen" BK-Studios ins leben, um anderen die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich an dem Projekt zu beteiligen. Parallel zu BK-Studios folgte später auch die Gründung der Käse-Crew, eine "Organisation" in der die führenden Köpfe hinter Bernd der Käse zusammenkommen. Anfang 2024 trat Akane_Light dem Projekt bei, nachdem er auf Lens Schule gewechselt war.
As of January 2024, the project was performing well. The first videos appeared on the Bernd der Käse YouTube channel and Lord Ender and Vince joined the project. During this phase, Len discovered his passion for programming, which led to it not only becoming his hobby but also the project becoming increasingly detached from Scratch. The Discord server “Planet Käse” started in June 2024 and is still active today. At the same time, Len and Akane also came up with the idea of developing a "console operating system" for BK games. This ambitious project was christened “Project B” and would have a significant impact on the future of BK-Studios for a long time to come.
